After crossing into Montenegro, the road follows the shores of the Bay of Kotor to the elegant town of Perast, where baroque palaces and quiet waterfront squares recall its maritime past. A little further along the bay, Kotor reveals a maze of stone streets, hidden courtyards, and lively squares, with time to explore while your guide brings the town’s long history to life.
Leaving the Adriatic behind, the journey continues inland toward Trebinje in southern Herzegovina. Beneath the shade of centuries old plane trees, its market square and cafés offer a relaxed moment to experience local flavors before the comfortable return to Dubrovnik.
