7000 meters of underground paths, including 1800 meters of groomed, hiking trails. The mighty biodiversity hidden in all corners of the underground halls, curtains, pools, etc., provides shelter to more than 200 animal species, of which almost 40 have been discovered right in this cave. A cave where a human fish also lives. Yes, you are right – Vjetrenica is one of the most fascinating caves in Europe, but few people know about it. We will take you there on the way to Mostar, on a circular path that will lead us back home through the fertile delta of the mighty Neretva. If we add to this the exploration of the culturally and architecturally diverse Mostar, the combination is truly perfect.

Highlights 

We have about an hour’s drive to Vjetrenica. Upon arrival, we decide to take a guided tour of the cave and dedicate it a good hour of time. We continue to the small but eloquent settlement of Počitelj, and from there directly to Mostar. After an introductory joint tour, you get some free time to explore the alleys, bars, and restaurants as well as the boutiques of local artists. After three hours, the route through the Neretva and Neum valleys (where another short stop is possible) takes us back to Dubrovnik.
