Legend says that Korčula was home to the beautiful Greek mythology hero – Korkyra. It is even said that Korčula is named after her. These days Korčula presents a combination of stunning nature and impressive history. It is known for beautiful beaches and it is even called ‘Croatian Santorini’. Korčula counts thousands of years of culture, history, and tradition! Hundred years old olive trees, vineyards, fruits and vegetable productions assure you that you will eat good and local food in Korčula. Memories on the great Croatian singer Oliver Dragojević who was born in Korčula, keep lovely Dalmatian music and atmosphere on every step, while enjoying a glass of wine, of course!

Highlights 

On the way from Dubrovnik we first stop in Ston to enjoy a cup of morning coffee. In an hour of free time in Ston you can walk the narrow streets, see the walls of Ston or meet some of the local shellfish farmers. While passing the salt pans, we continue to Orebić, where we cross the Pelješac channel to reach the island. On the way from Orebić to Korčula we get to enjoy the views on surfers and kiters that are popular in the area! Once we get to the island, we first do a short tour of the city, followed by three hours of free time. In the free time you can enjoy the colorful, charming streets, go for a swim in the crystal clear sea or enjoy the local cuisine. On the way back, we make a stop in one of the Pelješac wine shops where we try excellent local wines.  You can buy some souvenirs, even wine, and after all, enjoy the beautiful ride through the wine region back to Dubrovnik.
