Highlights
We can’t see all of Pelješac in a day, but we sure can try to visit the best of it! Therefore, first spectacular spot is the town of Ston. This old, charming city is famous for its stone wall that is the second longest in the world (after the Chinese wall). Ston is not too big so we intend to explore it rather quickly. After a short sightseeing, we get to enjoy a cup of coffee, snap some photos, take a walk to see the beauties of the city and off we go, rushing towards our wine themed adventure. We are going to visit best local wine cellars in which barrels we can find the finest of Croatia’s wines: Dingač, Plavac Mali, Grk, Pošip, Postup and many others. We get to taste all of them: get to know their peculiarity, from the color to the taste and aftertaste. We have the opportunity to find out all about the wines from the cellar’s sommeliers. While tasting the wine we get to try some of the local culinary mini specialities which fulfill our wine tasting experience. If you wish to take your experience to the next level by attending a sommelier class – no problem! We offer sommelier classes upon request.
