Highlights
Dubrovnik – Cavtat – border crossing – Perast – Kotor – Trebinje – Dubrovnik. On this circular route, our first stop will be dedicated to exceptional Dubrovnik panorama, and on the way we will pay attention to the history of Cavtat as the first settlement in the area. After crossing the border, we will have a short stop in the town of Perast, which (as a result of its rich history) has earned the name city-museum. Afterwards, Kotor is waiting for us with a 2-hour stop by your choice: free time. We then say goodbye to the sea and drive over the hill, – the former river canyon – across the border to Trebinje. This town in the southernmost municipality of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has existed since the Stone Age, impresses with its old mills and mighty bridges, beautiful churches, and unforgettable cuisine. We leave it full of memories (and bellies) and return to Dubrovnik.
The circular route can be reversed with a start in Trebinje. Reason? Trebinje market of local delicacies, from which we then continue our journey to Kotor, Perast, across the border to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. The decision is yours.
