Full day tour

The first inhabitant of Split was the Roman emperor Diocletian who started to build his palace in this bay about 293 B.C. Despite of his abdication he retired to a palace of luxury to enjoy the rest of his life.

You will discover the basement corridors of the Palace and the main square Peristil, following by the cathedral St. Domnius, the saint patron of Split, the temples of the palaces, as well as the emperor promenade of Split, the lively green open market and monuments not only of antiquity but also of the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque. After the visit you get some free time before returning to Dubrovnik.
