One of the award-winning Malvasia comes from Konavle. Whoever tries it says it has no equal. Especially when paired with the authentic flavours of juicy vegetables, cheeses, as well as the meat specialties they create on family wine estates. We will visit two of them, focusing on the wine experience, backed by local culinary specialties. For the most curious, we can also organize a small sommelier school for combining wine and food.

Highlights 

Our introductory trip will take 45 minutes and will end in the very heart of Konavle. On the first family estate we will try all our senses. First, we visit the wine cellar, we get to know the wine varieties and of course we try their best wines. This introduction to the wine secrets of Konavle will encourage us to explore the playful river Ljuta, a fascinating old mill and other natural treasures. Then we continue our journey to another family wine estate. Here pairing the best wines with the best food awaits us. We choose the best wine pairing for appetizer, main course and dessert. Yes, wine is also drunk with dessert – did you know that? We then return to Dubrovnik when finishing the course.
